Design 100 Somethings
I finished the challenge by Jake Parker to Design 100 Somethings. The approach I took was a bit different for me. I decided to let loose and try not control my lines. You see I have a rather shaky hand and trying to create completely straight fluid lines was causing cramping in my hand and to be honest total frustration in my work. For a long while I worked digitally and was able to create images with vector lines but it was/is time consuming and my work lacked 'feeling' - the artist touch of actually creating art. Now don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE digital art and still use it. This challenge, however, was a chance to let it all go and see what came out of loose doodles. They start off rather simple and some doodles are super boring and I almost didn't show them all but I realized those simple/boring doodles lead to others that I really like. I'm thinking of continuing on to 200.
